NOVEL INSIGHTS BOOK GROUP

We gather at our local bookstore, The Dusty Shelf, to discuss books that engage current social and cultural issues. All are welcome as we grow community by engaging in respectful and open conversation. Books can be ordered from the Dusty Shelf, or at bookshop.org. or contact the church office if you need help getting a book.

OsCeola Country Gardens

Calvary is delighted to partner with Osceola as we ask questions together relating to sustainability, gathering in community, and food production. Calvary has a bed in the community garden at Osceola on which we grow food for local foodbanks. We are active partners in various gatherings throughout the year, including the Spring Fling in May and Hometown Harvest in October. We hold our annual Music Camp for youth at the Gardens during the summer. Between May and October, Pastor Maggie is available for conversation on the farm between 7:30 am and 10:30 am or 6 pm to 7 pm on Wednesdays. You are invited to get involved and can help the gardens grow by joining in our monthly work parties.
