ENUMCLAW FOODBANK - PLATEAU OUTREACH MINISTRIES
The Foodbank is housed in the lower level of the Calvary Community Center at
1728 Wells Street, Enumclaw.
The foodbank is open three days a week, with an additional option of door dash if you are unable to come in person.
Mondays: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Tuesdays 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Wednesdays: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Anyone experiencing food insecurity can visit our foodbanks weekly.
Emergency food is still available M-F 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at POM, please call or ring bell on back door and someone will meet you outside.

NOVEL INSIGHTS BOOK GROUP - A community Book Group
We gather at our local bookstore, The Dusty Shelf (1456 Cole Street) from 10 am - 11:30 am on the dates shown with each book. We alternate between works of non-fiction and fiction from a mix of genres. Our goal is to gain insight and perspective on various current social and cultural topics. Drop in for one or more!
All are welcome as we grow community by engaging in respectful and open conversation. Books can be ordered from the Dusty Shelf, or by clicking the linked book covers to bookshop.org, or contact the church office (office@calvarypreschurch.org) if you need help getting a book or more information.

OsCeola Country Gardens
Calvary is delighted to partner with Osceola as we ask questions together relating to sustainability, gathering in community, and food production. Calvary has a bed in the community garden at Osceola on which we grow food for local foodbanks. We are active partners in various gatherings throughout the year, including the Spring Fling in May and Hometown Harvest in October. You are invited to get involved and can help the gardens grow by joining in our monthly work parties.
You're invited to take a look here at all the wonderful spots you can explore when you visit Osceola Gardens. Feel free to come visit!
Some Important Details to Know: Visitors are welcome to come any time using either the “Secret Gate” where you can just pass through a narrow opening between a large rock and a fence, or enter through the large metal gate. Please fasten the chain when leaving so the gate stays closed.
You may see gardeners at random times and are welcome to walk the wood chip paths amongst the vegetables, but please don’t pick any. Please respect others hard work and time invested.
Or you may stroll the many paths through the forest, and the flowers are always lovely to look at and the blossoms change everyday. Picnic tables and chairs are available near the entry and also in the forest. The restroom is the small wood building near the container
beds.
If you want to come over when someone is there, then the owner, Cathy is usually there every morning from around 8am until lunch time.
Pastor Maggie hangs out there most Wednesdays from April to the mid October between 8 am - 10.30 am and then again 5 - 7 pm. She is always happy to chat and spend time with folks while there. Someone is there most Tuesday evenings working on the children's garden and would welcome folks who might want to help her. Calvary also has a work party every third Saturday from 9am - 12pm that folks are welcome to and a community potluck every 4th Sunday at 4pm.
The amazing work that the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation does covers many areas.
Their programs include:
- Healthcare Access via a Van.
- Neighbors Feeding Neighbors - which includes the School Backpack program, Senior Hot Meals Program, and Full Bellies Thursday meals.
- Healstrike - a Running program to help mental and physical fitness.
- Student Support- Back to School Supplies Drive
