Why Give? Giving Makes Ministry Possible


God calls each one of us to whole life discipleship. Everything we have and everything we are came from God and belongs to God. Our grateful response to God's love for us is to offer back to him our treasured gifts of time and money.


Thus, our mission is to share God's love and the hope of Jesus Christ with people on the Plateau and around the world. When you give generously to Calvary, you make ministry happen. People are baptized, fed, loved, prayed for, counseled, and introduced to Jesus. What a great investment in Christ's work. Thank you!

    Your faith promise to support Calvary this year will help immensely with budget planning to be able to do the Christ's work. Click this picture

    Print out a copy, fill it out with your giving promise then drop it in the offering plate next time you are at worship or mail it to the church office. Thank You!

  • During a Service

    Give cash or checks during the worship service. Place your donation in the offering plate as it is passed through the pews. If you would like to receive a year-end tax deduction statement of your check donations, just contact our Financial Secretary and she would be happy to prepare a statement for you. If you give cash, just place it in an offering envelope found in the pew racks and add your name and address to the front so a giving statement may be prepared for you.

  • online bill pay

    Many banks and financial institutions now offer a convenient online bill pay option. You can set up a one-time or reoccurring payment directly through your bank. The bank will cut the check for you and send it directly to Calvary, saving you postage! Call your bank for more information or sign up online with your bank.

  • EMPLOYER GIFT MATCHING

    Looking to make your giving dollars go further? Check to see if your company has a matching plan in place. Many companies will match all or part of your gifts to Calvary Presbyterian Church. Calvary is a 501 (c)(3) organization. If you have any questions regarding your match request, please contact the Financial Secretary.


  • memorial gifts and capital improvements

    By making a generous gift of Stock, Property, Charitable Gift Annuities, or Life Insurance to Calvary, you can insure our facilities and grounds will be well cared for into the future. Contact your Attorney and Accountant for additional advice on this type of giving.

    You can include Calvary in your Estate Plans. Make a gift to share the hope of Jesus Christ with people for generations to come. Proper planning can reduce taxes, leaving more funds for your family members and gifting. You can name Calvary in your will, trust, or beneficiary designations. You can also make lifetime donations at any time. Gifts can be open ended or directed to specific funds. Contact your Attorney for more advice on this option.
